The IP app is your personal commuter assistant: It helps you find the optimal route for your commute and informs you in a timely manner about current disruptions – such as construction sites, weather events, or public transport restrictions.
App features at a glance
- Enter your daily commute using your preferred mode of transport (car, bus, train, etc.)
- Personal settings, e.g., maximum walking distance
- Select smart routes, e.g., the fastest or lowest-emission route
- Notifications about disruptions on your route (e.g., construction sites or delays)
- Display of CO₂ emissions and energy consumption for your route – including comparisons
Use our voluntary data donation feature to help further improve the quality of route suggestions. By sharing anonymized information about your commute, you support more precise traffic forecasts and even smarter route planning – all in the spirit of comfortable and sustainable mobility. Thank you!
Data Protection & Voluntary Data Donation
- The app does not require a login and does not request any personal information.
- If you voluntarily choose to donate data, you will anonymously transmit your start and destination areas, as well as the means of transport used.
- If recording is activated, your route will be saved. Upon request, the exact start or destination point will be automatically blurred to prevent any conclusions about your identity.
- Data donation can be deactivated at any time.
The donated data will be used exclusively for non-commercial purposes – it helps us further improve the app and make commuting more sustainable.
