File Gallery is a simple, local photo gallery for people who already keep their pictures organized in folders and don't want an app trying to reorganize them.
WHY FILE GALLERY
Most gallery apps assume your photos are a messy, unsorted pile and try to "fix" that with cloud backup, automatic albums, and AI-powered sorting or grouping. If you already organize your photos into folders yourself, none of that is useful ā it just gets in the way, hides your folder structure, and often pushes your photos to the cloud whether you want that or not.
File Gallery does the opposite: it works like a file explorer. Browse your storage folder by folder, and when you open a folder full of photos, it simply shows you a normal thumbnail grid ā nothing rearranged, nothing regrouped, nothing uploaded anywhere.
KEY FEATURES
⢠Camera tab ā jumps straight to your DCIM/Camera photos
⢠Favorites tab ā pin any folder with a tap so it's always one tap away
⢠Files tab ā browse your entire internal storage and SD card folder by folder, with thumbnail previews for any folder containing images
⢠Sort each tab independently by name, date, or size, ascending or descending
⢠Full-screen photo viewer with swipe navigation between photos in the same folder
⢠Share photos with any app
⢠Delete photos to an in-app recycle bin, with an option to restore them or empty the bin for good
⢠Reads both internal storage and removable SD cards
NO CLOUD, NO AI, NO ACCOUNT
There is no cloud backup, no account or sign-in, no AI-based photo grouping or "smart" albums, and no automatic reorganizing of your files. Your folder structure stays exactly as you made it.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
File Gallery only ever asks for the storage permission needed to read your photos ā nothing else. No contacts access, no location access, no analytics, no ads, and no network access for your media: your photos never leave your device.
LANGUAGES
Available in English and Spanish, with an in-app language switch independent of your system settings.
File Gallery is built for people who already organize their own photos and just want a straightforward way to browse them ā nothing smarter than that.
For people who organize photos in folders ā no AI, no albums, no cloud.
