About this app

One day, I did the unthinkable; I updated my wife's phone and her favorite egg tracking app stopped working. Worse, it looked like the developer wasn't planning on updating it. So, what else could I do but build her a replacement.

Along the way, we added some features that we think that people raising chickens (and other poultry) might find useful.

There are three parts to the app:

The "Harvest" section is designed to be used on a daily basis when you go out and find the latest batch of eggs waiting for you to collect. Sometimes environmental factors such as light or stress can affect egg production. By tracking the egg counts, you can watch for these trends.

The "Flock" section is for keeping tabs on the members of your flock. If you're like us, sometimes it's hard to keep track of who's who in the coop, so adding a picture and a name goes a long way. For the breeders out there, we added a family tree graph. We haven't done this ourselves yet, so any feedback is welcome.

The "Finances" section gives you the ability to see (if you want to) just how much your feathered friends are costing you in feed and other expenses. Or, if you sell your eggs or meat, how much money they are making you.

Ratings and reviews

disappointed that I can't search/enter breads. I have contacted the developers. It took the developers 3 days to email me back, they tried to blame my version of android even though the app says version 8 and up. I have version 13. The playtime also shows this app as compatible with my phone. I haven't heard back from them since. it's been a week.

I contacted the developer because I am unable to enter in the breeds of chickens that I have. When I try to enter in a breed the drop-down menu doesn't appear. I took the time to manually enter in all 8 of my chicks with their breed info,saved it,and then went back in and all of the info and pictures that I uploaded disappeared! The developer had me delete the app from my phone and reload it and it doesn't do anything. I have ever bought an app before but decided to try this and now I regret it

Really like this App, the finance tracking is awesome, pretty user friendly interface over all. I do wish it was possible to delete a photo on a birds profile--or change which one shows on the thumbnail with the name so you could update a chick to grow-out, to adult hen without needing to delete the bird and re-enter it to get a new main photo. It would also help if you could set your egg colors using the same color chart option for leg bands. Splitting into separate flocks would be great too.
