EXCEPTIONAL astronomical calendarsss!!! Not only lunar calculations, but solar and planetary data as well. Very kool modeling of the sky to show the positions of all the planets' locations, day or night. Shows the rising and setting of the planets and includes a nearly amazing! model of our solar system in 3D that you can view from any angle. The ancients would have done backflips for this much information. Not really any ads. They just ask you to donate, but it works great if you don't pay

I love love love this app! So many cool features! I have noticed that, for my location (EST), we're hitting phases earlier than what the almanac says. For instance, if we're officially in a new moon at 4pm, the app will say we're in a full moon 4 hours earlier. Probably a time zone calculation thing. That's a very minor thing tho! I can't imagine using any other app. Ever. Well done!

The app works with a nice UI, etc. But, it lacks the ability to show a persistent live moon phase icon in the status bar at the top of the phone (not in the notification panel). So, as the moon's phases change, their seen in the status bar. Not a fan of widgets cluttering up wallpaper. Emailed the dev previously and told it would be looked into for a future app feature. But nothing has occurred. Could be an option in app's settings to turn on/off along with ability to select a color for it.
