I also live in Canada, this app connects just fine to my Danby AC and allows me to control it. only issue is I can't assign/set my home location for account which restricts me from being able to create scene rules based on outdoor temps.

this app doesn't work. it's not able to detect the WIFI if the router is not 2.4ghz old technology for a new machine. my router selects 5ghz or 2.4 ghz automatically why do you want me to screw my whole home network for a simply bad app design. sorry the star was the lowest rating I could give

I live in Canada(saying this bc I believe we get different model numbers here)and I tried 2 Danby apps that didn't work with my model before I found this one. It's important to find the right app! App works fine so far
