Valves consume a lot in batteries and you're not notified when they run out, unless you check each valve at a time. Also when changing temperature there is no way to "confirm" other than closing and reopening the app and listening carefully to the valve opening/closing. It's frustrating and very much not user friendly.

How can a company like danfoss produce such a useless device. the bluetooth is so flakey and slow. trv often gets stuck with red light on need to reset by removing batteries. The UI is terrible. it often fails to come on. massiely overshoots. The lcd screen isnt visible unless you crawl on your hands and knees to look. and the manual knob skips steps, so you cant mark or memorise how much of a turn increases temp.

The app takes too long to connect to the thermostats. A major disadvantage is you cannot group radiators together. I.e. living room could contain living room left and living room right thermostats, and thus allow you to set them at the same time. Likewise, it would be nice being able to control every thermostat in the house in a single way, rather than having to spend several minutes to go over individual thermostats. @DanFoss Apps. Stop replying that and fix it instead. These suggestions aren't new. Or open the API and let someone else build a better app. @Danfoss A/S - How about repeating the same thing over and over you actually fix it? This was suggested by others ages ago. Or, just open the API so someone else can build a better app.
