Widget Studio brings your Home Assistant sensors, charts and controls to your Android Home Screen.

Build a layout for the information you check most: solar generation, battery charge, house load, temperatures, humidity, bin collections or the next event. Select three independent readings or three charts in one widget, then choose a theme and System, Light or Dark appearance.

CHARTS THAT EXPLAIN THEIR DATA
Choose from thirteen styles, including interval bars, lines, areas, points, lollipops, reading columns, value heatmaps and state timelines. Missing history stays missing. Saved readings and timestamps remain useful when the connection drops. Dense charts retain the saved time window and its extrema; smoothing and interval summaries are explained.

YOUR HOME, YOUR CONNECTION
Connect directly to your own Home Assistant installation using browser sign-in or an existing token. Explore the visibly labelled demo without credentials. Save layouts for multiple homes, organise sources, duplicate a layout, undo deletion and preview portable configuration before importing or sharing it.

SAFE, EXPLICIT CONTROLS
Supported controls check current target state before one explicit command. Actions are never queued offline or retried automatically. Locks and additional homes are read-only. Scenes, scripts and covers require app confirmation. Quick Settings opens a confirmation rather than silently controlling a device.

PRIVACY AND CHOICE
Credentials and saved household content stay in encrypted private app storage. Camera stills require opt-in and carry timestamps. Diagnostics are kept locally; preview a redacted report and choose whether to share it. No advertising SDK, developer tracking, subscription, paid upgrade or separate Widget Studio account is required. Optional personal referral links in Settings may reward you and the developer; they never unlock app features.

Home Assistant is required for live household readings. Remote connections require HTTPS; private-network HTTP is supported but is not encrypted in transit. Android and your launcher control background widget timing. Foreground refresh options do not guarantee that Home Screen widgets update at the same interval. Lock Screen availability varies by Android version, device and launcher. Camera widgets show stills, not live video. Appliance sessions are display-only notifications, not continuous monitoring.
