Danish Crown Data are providing the owners of Danish Crown a unique opportunity of optimizing slaughter pig production. It is possible to register insertions and sold pigs, transfers between farms, feed consumption, dead pigs including cause of death in the application. By using big data, the daily weight gain is calculated each time pigs are delivered to a Danish Crown abattoir. Fluctuations on a weekly basis is suddenly getting visible, which will make it easier for the farmer to react if the productivity is decreasing. The goal is to ensure that the productivity on the farm is as high as possible.

The application integrates with several stakeholders in the industry, to reduce the time spend on manual registrations. Beside slaughter data from Danish Crown, the system also gathers data from SPF and several feed suppliers.

The application is a registration tool that should be used in the stable. Use it together with the web-based dashboard to be able to analyze data, create a productivity report and do follow ups on enhancements in the productivity. Further, it is possible to register different expenses in the dashboard.
