About this app

DareClock is the alarm clock that won't let you snooze. When it rings, you have to actually do something to turn it off: push-ups, squats, a 10-second dance, a photo of your made bed, or a quick math round. By the time it's quiet, you're up.

PICK YOUR DARE
• Push-ups, squats, sit-ups, jumping jacks, high knees: the camera counts every rep
• Plank and squat hold: the timer only runs while you hold the pose
• Dance for 10 seconds
• Flappy push: every push-up flaps the bird through the next pipe
• Make your bed, touch grass, sky photo, pet hunt, object hunt: prove you're up with a photo
• Custom photo: snap any spot (your sink, your shoes by the door) and find it in the morning
• Draw it, recreate a meme pose
• Walk 50 steps, shake your phone
• Math, memory game, guess the flag, language quiz, tongue twisters
• Normal alarm for days off

BUILT FOR HEAVY SLEEPERS
• Loud alarm sounds that get louder over time and push the volume back up if you turn it down
• Fills the screen even while you're using your phone, and rings over the lock screen until the dare is done
• Leave the mission and it rings again
• Restarting your phone won't save you: the alarm comes back after a reboot
• Wake-up Check: a few minutes later we ask "Still up?". No answer, and the alarm rings again
• Difficulty from Easy to Brutal

BUILD THE HABIT
• Streaks, a calendar of the days you won and achievements to unlock
• Average wake time, response time and a full wake-up history
• 80+ alarm sounds (loud, meme, viral, cinematic, funny…) or your own music, and your pick of a quiet alarm, music or silence while you do the dare
• App Blocking: distracting apps stay shut at bedtime until your alarm rings

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Rep counting and photo checks run on your phone. Camera frames are never saved or uploaded.

DareClock requires a subscription. New subscribers can try it free for 3 days. After the trial it renews at the price shown in the app (for example $29.99 per year or $9.99 per month) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
