Each successful catch increases the series by one step and is counted in the session progress. If an impulse is not caught, the series returns to zero. The series indicator remains on the main panel, so you can follow the continuity and aim for several correct catches in a row.

A pulse that passes outside the platform area is considered a mistake and takes away a life. The error is accompanied by a shaking of the platform and a sound signal, giving immediate feedback. When the number of lives reaches zero, the session ends and you can start a new attempt.

📈 Difficulty and progression

Nationale Loterij has three difficulty levels. Easy starts with 4 lives, slower pulses, longer intervals between them and a wider platform. Medium starts with 3 lives and more balanced parameters. Hard starts with 2 lives, faster pulses, more frequent appearances and a narrower platform.

After every four captures, the game becomes gradually more intense. The speed of the pulses increases, the time between appearances decreases and the platform narrows to a certain limit. This creates a continuous progression within the same session and requires adaptation to the new rhythm.
