About this app

Daymark counts down to the days you actually care about, and puts that number
where you will see it every day: your home screen.

**THE WIDGET IS THE POINT**
Most countdown apps make you open them. Daymark does not. Drop a widget on your
home screen, pick an event, and the number is simply there each morning — no
tapping, no opening, no waiting for a splash screen. The number updates at
midnight on its own, even if you never open the app.

**FOUR KINDS OF WIDGET**
• Square and wide countdowns — big number, event name, the date underneath
• A progress bar — see how far you have come toward the big day
• An "Upcoming" list — your next events at a glance, tap one to open it

**YOUR OWN PHOTO BEHIND THE NUMBER**
Choose a photo from your gallery and it becomes the widget background. The
wedding venue, the beach you are flying to, the person you are counting toward.
The photo is copied into the app and never leaves your phone.

**SIXTEEN HAND-DRAWN THEMES, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET**
Not flat colour swatches: every theme is a little scene — a crescent moon over
dark hills, a sunrise, pine forests, falling maple leaves, snow, fireworks,
lanterns — tucked into the corner so the number stays easy to read. Seasonal
ones included: Lunar New Year, Christmas, New Year, Halloween, Valentine. The
live preview shows the exact layout that lands on your home screen.

**EVERY EVENT IN ITS OWN COLOUR**
Pick a theme for each event and the app wears it too — the big card, the list,
the detail screen — so you recognise your dates at a glance.

**DOWN TO THE MINUTE**
Give an event a time — a flight, a concert, an exam. In the last 24 hours the
widget turns into a live clock that ticks without draining your battery, and
the app shows hours and minutes instead of "1 day".

**COUNTS UP TOO**
Days until the wedding. Days since you met. Daymark works in both directions
automatically — no setting to fiddle with.

**BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES REPEAT**
Mark an event as yearly and it rolls forward on its own. The day after your
birthday, the widget starts counting to the next one.

**REMINDERS**
A notification on the morning of the day — or one hour before, for events with
a time — so nothing sneaks up on you.

**SHARE IT**
Turn any countdown into a clean 9:16 image for your story, and share it with the
apps already on your phone.

**NEVER LOSE YOUR DATES**
Export every event to a single file and import it back on a new phone. Importing
the same file twice will not create duplicates. No account, nothing to sign up
for.

**WHAT DAYMARK WILL NOT DO**
• No ads — not in the app, not on the widget
• No account, no sign-up, no email
• No tracking, no analytics
• The app does not request internet access at all
