About this app

Daymark counts down to the days you actually care about, and puts that number
where you will see it every day: your home screen.

**THE WIDGET IS THE POINT**
Most countdown apps make you open them. Daymark does not. Drop a widget on your
home screen, pick an event, and the number is simply there each morning — no
tapping, no opening, no waiting for a splash screen.

**YOUR OWN PHOTO BEHIND THE NUMBER**
Choose a photo from your gallery and it becomes the widget background. The
wedding venue, the beach you are flying to, the person you are counting toward.
The photo is copied into the app and never leaves your phone.

**TEN THEMES, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET**
Pick from ten hand-made themes with a live preview. The preview is drawn by the
exact same code that draws the widget, so what you choose is precisely what
lands on your home screen — no surprises after you tap Save.

**COUNTS UP TOO**
Days until the wedding. Days since you met. Daymark works in both directions
automatically — no setting to fiddle with.

**BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES REPEAT**
Mark an event as yearly and it rolls forward on its own. The day after your
birthday, the widget starts counting to the next one.

**DOWN TO THE SECOND**
Open an event to watch it tick down to the second. That clock only runs while
you are looking at it, so it costs you nothing in battery.

**REMINDERS**
Get a notification on the morning of the day, so an event never sneaks up on
you.

**NEVER LOSE YOUR DATES**
Export every event to a single file and import it back on a new phone. No
account, nothing to sign up for.

**WHAT DAYMARK WILL NOT DO**
