About this app

HDD Assistant is a practical app for horizontal directional drilling (HDD) professionals. Measure ground surface profiles with AR-assisted tools using your phone’s sensors, build bore plans or LWD profiles, and generate professional reports in minutes.

Key features

Bore Planning
* Measure terrain profiles between two points (A → B) with AR guidance
* Pin key areas during measurement for later use in reports
* Draw a proposed bore path directly on the graph (by rod length)
* Adjust rod positions and add utilities with a single tap

LWD (Rod-by-rod Profile)

* Create projects with rod length (and optional first rod length)
* Enter locator readings rod-by-rod to build the profile
* Edit or delete entered rods/stations at any time
* Add utilities when needed (distance is calculated from the utility’s center)

Reports

* Export polished PDF and Excel reports for both Bore Planning and LWD
* Fill job information and optionally add your company logo
* For LWD reports: optionally attach a GPS / Site Map image (manual selection)
* Share or save output files in a couple of taps

Cloud Storage

* Projects are stored in the cloud by default and доступны from your linked account
* You can disable cloud storage in Settings

Project transfer (.hdda)

* Export any project into a .hdda file and share it
* Import .hdda back into the app — the project type is detected automatically and saved in the correct section.
