DasGo teaches the German articles the way they actually work: by ending patterns where there is a rule, by practice where there isn't, by speaking out loud, and by review for the words that refuse to stick. Then it takes you on to the cases.
THE ARTICLE QUIZ - the rules
Choose how many ending rules to practise and race a 60-second round. More rules make a harder round that pays more XP. A run of right answers raises your heat: a bigger XP multiplier and a little extra time. Every word shows the ending that decides its article, so each answer teaches a rule you can reuse. Swipe a word up to keep it.
THE WORD SEARCH - the exceptions
No clock here. Find a noun hidden in a grid of letters, then say der, die or das. These are everyday words whose endings tell you nothing (Flasche, Auge, Sonne), the ones you learn one at a time. A wrong guess does not end the word, and the finished board becomes a colour-coded revision sheet.
PRONOUN DRILL - the cases
Mich or mir? Mein, meinen or meinem? Fill the gap in a German sentence with the right form, across possessives, the Akkusativ, the Dativ and the Genitiv. No clock, and your first wrong pick on a sentence is free. Miss twice and a short "Why?" shows the word that decides the case and the whole row of forms.
DIALOGS - say your part out loud
Listen to a short German conversation, then play your side. 150 dialogs in five situations, from ordering a coffee to arguing about nuclear power. Every line is recorded in a female and a male voice and translated, and speech recognition shows how much of what you said it understood. Tap any word to see its meaning and save it.
DESCRIBE A PICTURE - talk with a tutor
Pick one of 180 pictures in nine topics, from breakfast to the dentist's chair, and describe it out loud in German. An AI tutor listens, answers, corrects your mistakes and asks the next question. Six tutors, each with their own voice and character. Afterwards, read the conversation back and keep the nouns you used.
SAY IT BACK - from memory
Ten lines from the dialogs. Hear each one, then say it back, even with the text hidden. Levels A1 to C1.
FLASHCARDS - the ones that won't stick
Keep words as you play, or pick them from the full noun list. Your decks come back on a spaced schedule, from a day stretching out to nearly five months. You rate each card yourself, and reviews never cost energy. Every noun can be heard with its article, in a female or a male voice.

BUILT TO BE FAIR
No ads. No data selling. Analytics stay off until you switch them on. The microphone is used only while you speak. In Describe a picture, the text of your answers goes to our server and an AI model to write the tutor's reply; your conversations are saved only on your phone.
You get 12 energy a day, refilled every morning. The quiz, the word search and the Pronoun Drill only charge for wrong answers, and not for every one. A new Dialogs chapter costs 2 and a Say It Back round 1. Replays, flashcard reviews and picture conversations cost no energy.
Everything works without an account, and Unlimited can be bought without one. Signing in backs up your progress, syncs it across devices and gives you one free picture conversation. Without a subscription your decks hold 100 words in all; the optional Unlimited subscription removes that cap and the energy limit, and opens Describe a picture.
PERFECT IF YOU ARE
Studying for a Goethe or telc exam, living in a German-speaking country, or just tired of getting the article wrong on words you already know.
Viel Erfolg.
