How many days until the thing you are actually looking forward to?

List Countdown puts that number on your home screen. Add a date — a holiday, a birthday, a wedding, a flight, a deadline — and a widget counts the days down for you. No account, no cloud, no sign-up, and it all works with the phone in airplane mode.

★ HOME-SCREEN WIDGETS
• A single-event widget: one big number, the name, and the date
• Pin each widget to a different event, or let it follow whatever is soonest
• A compact "next 3 events" strip for everything coming up
• Tap any widget to open that event
• Widgets never show ads. Not one, not ever.
• Battery-friendly by design: they redraw when your data or the date changes, not on a timer that wakes your phone all day

★ A COUNTDOWN THAT KEEPS UP
• Days to go, at a glance, sorted soonest first
• Add a time and the final day ticks down in hours, minutes and seconds
• "Today" and "Tomorrow" say so in words, because that is what people say
• Days are counted in your own calendar, so a clock change never adds or loses one — and a flight to another timezone never moves the date

★ BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES
• Switch on yearly repeat and the countdown rolls over the moment the day ends
• A 29 February anniversary is observed on the 28th in the years without one
• Give each event an emoji and a colour so you know it from across the room

★ ALERTS AS THE DAY GETS CLOSER
• A heads-up 30 days out, 7 days out, the day before, and on the day
• Every event picks its own — switch them all off for the quiet ones
• Once each, never twice, and never for something that has already happened
• Battery-friendly: one inexact check a day, no exact alarms

★ THE DAYS SINCE, TOO
Events that have passed keep counting — upwards. Days since you started the job, since the move, since the day you want to remember. Or hide them in Settings if you would rather look forward only.

★ YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
• Works 100% offline — internet is used only to show ads
• No account, no cloud, no tracking of what you are counting down to
• Android cloud backup is switched off on purpose: data never leaves the device
• Export a readable JSON backup of every event and import it back any time. Never locked behind a paywall.

List Countdown needs an internet connection only to show ads. Adding events, the countdowns, the widgets, the alerts, export and import all work in airplane mode.
