The night shift begins. An alert fires. A server rack is overheating, and you're the technician who has to find out why.

Data Center Technician is an immersive technical career simulator where you navigate realistic data centres, diagnose incidents and bring critical systems back online.

Take a job, locate the correct rack and investigate the symptoms. Use a thermal camera, temperature readings, network diagnostics and other professional tools to uncover the real cause. Inspect fans, power supplies, drives, cables, sensors and network connections, then decide what actually needs repairing.

YOUR JOB
• Find faulty servers and racks.
• Diagnose overheating and hardware failures.
• Replace failed fans, power supplies and components.
• Inspect cables, ports and network connections.
• Monitor temperature, airflow and power.
• Make decisions when critical services are at risk.
• Restore systems and complete each incident.

BUILD YOUR CAREER
Start in smaller server rooms and progress into larger, more complex data centres. Earn experience, improve your equipment and take responsibility for tougher incidents.
