About this app

The Datadog mobile app provides real-time visibility into critical alerts, incidents, monitors, dashboards, logs and application performance metrics across your entire environment directly from your phone or tablet.

Datadog ensures that on-call engineers can quickly evaluate the conditions that triggered an alert, determine its urgency, and decide the next course of action—anywhere, anytime.

With Datadog for Android, you can:

Trigger, respond, and resolve On-Call alerts anywhere:
Receive critical push notifications and investigate alerting monitors or active incidents with direct access to monitors and incidents. Additionally, Bits AI SRE accelerates root cause detection.

Monitor key metrics on-the-go:
Track performance, SLO, and cloud integrations with full access to your Datadog dashboards and monitors.

Create and manage Incidents from anywhere:
Kick off incidents, assemble teams, and manage response workflows without ever having to open your laptop.

Enterprise on-call alert handling:
When receiving an on-call page through calls or SMS, Datadog can temporarily disable silent mode so critical alerts are not missed, then automatically restore the device’s previous sound mode after the paging event.

Add Datadog on your Homescreen:
Add Datadog to your Homescreen for one-tap access to critical metrics and monitors.

Search and explore Logs in real time:
Pinpoint issues faster with log search and anomaly detection powered by Watchdog.

View APM traces and service health anytime:
Analyze distributed traces and stay on top of application performance wherever you are.

DO NOT RELY ON THIS APP FOR MISSION CRITICAL MONITORING! this app is garbage. I had alerts going off and found out from my email. went to check what's going on with the app (and figure out why I wasn't alerted there first), only to find out that I had to sign in again! after SSO, 15 more redirections, re-granting perms and a TON of other things before I could finally get to the alerts. and this wasn't the first time either this happened.

For starters I can't even use the app! Whenever I sign-in through the Sign Sign On (SSO) it just has me signed in through the in-browser screen. NOT the APP. So it makes the app pointless. In this case I just reroute it to my normal browser and force it in PC mode because mobile mode is too close together. Maybe it's better that I don't use the app. I would imagine the app is like the browser but with mobile mode forced... Ehhh no thanks. Points for it working at least in browser. PC is better

Hi, we are sorry you couldn't sign-in through the app. We can confirm this is a native app experience and not a web mobile one. Could you please contact us via email mobile@datadoghq.com so we can troubleshoot the login issue with you? Thank you.

Prompted by app to refresh login. Process required me to choose SSO login option, enter my email, retrieve code from email, then login to Okta. Pretty sure I missed a click in there, but either way too many steps.

Thank you for the feedback. The login steps you described come from your organization’s single sign-on (SSO) setup. The app uses the identity provider your organization configured, so steps like email verification or extra authentication depend on those settings. If the process feels complex, your IT admin may be able to adjust it.
