About this app

Map RU is a fully functional alternative to navigation devices for hiking, walking, hunting and fishing.

In our catalog you will find maps of popular tourist places, ready-made maps of hiking or cycling routes, maps of countries and regions created on the basis of the OpenStreetMap project. In addition, you can order interactive topographic maps of the area you are interested in, as well as download depth maps of popular bodies of water for fishing.

Maps without the Internet
Do not forget to download the necessary interactive maps from our catalog to your device in advance to work with them without access to the Internet.

All information on the map
Save all the important information about your hike or walk directly in the application! Make notes, put points, lines and polygons on the map, add photos, videos and voice comments to them to create an informative report about your adventure. Upon returning home, you can easily share valuable information with friends and colleagues.

Navigation
Find your location and follow the planned route. Use objects on the map as landmarks, estimate the length and difficulty of the route, optimize the route and confidently reach the destination.

Record GPS tracks
Record and save your route tracks in the background, while working with the interactive map. Set up automatic track recording and save tracks as you go, without being distracted by editing them.

Share information with friends
Share impressions and maps of the routes you have taken with your friends after your trips! Download maps in CMF2 or MBTILES* format and share data in popular formats: GPKG (GeoPackage), KML/KMZ, GPX and SHP via instant messengers, email or cloud storage. Share the coordinates of a particular place on the map with your friends as a file or links.

*Only maps in MBTILES format with a raster tile type are supported.
