What a letdown. This app works for about 30 seconds, then unpairs from your device. We tried this with an S21 and S22 and got the same disappointing results. The device forces you to uninstall the app, then reconnect Bluetooth and sync over and over. If you're lucky, it works for about a minute before disconnecting. This seems to be a common issue. I'll be returning this $300 toy because I doubt they'll have fixed the app before the 30 day return policy is up. I wanted this to work so badly.

It is true that the concecpt is amazing and enjoyable for about 10 seconds and then the bluetooth drops and you need to go through the pairing process all over again and the name is never saved in the "my devices". Sometimes the pairing name comes up as "unnamed" and sometimes as "PlantWave" but after 10 seconds of joy the app dumps. This was a 75th birthday gift and I feel bad for the giver! I will have to investigate the "midi" connection options. This is garbage for my Pixel phone.

First, this product is incredible and I love it. Let's get that part out of the way. There many issues with the ap itself, though. Pretty often, the connection will randomly drop and fail to reconnect, even when the plantwave is put into pairing mode. Closing the app, turning off the pantwave, and turning it back on after re-opening the app is the only way to fix it. Sometimes, the app will crash altogether, resulting in the same process being necessary. Battery indicator also doesn't work.
