Block Push combines classic block-pushing gameplay with mechanical puzzle elements. Normal pistons push the block forward, while sticky pistons can change how you approach a route. Ice can send the block sliding across several tiles, teleporters instantly move it to another part of the board, and dangerous pits punish careless moves. Breakable obstacles can open new paths, while pressure plates and movable activation blocks can unlock the goal.

Later puzzles mix several mechanics at once. You may need to choose between multiple routes, avoid convincing but incorrect paths, move objects into the right positions, and plan several steps ahead. Some puzzles are designed like small logic mazes: there can be many possible moves, but only the correct sequence will lead the block safely to the finish.
