It's ok. I can get calculations for some things and conversions for others, but it's not very user friendly. I can't set it to default to a unit of measurement I prefer, or even to default to standard over metric. As far as I can tell there is no way to set anything, but they made sure to include a button to rate the app. For everything I want like say dipole length, I have to switch every parameter individually to feet or inches because it defaults to metric which is tiresome and annoying.

I expected this to be one of those apps that is more fluff than utility. Boy was I wrong. I thought maybe the reviews were paid for, they're not. This app is excellent for amateur radio enthusiasts. Everything from a q code chart, to a coordinate calculator, I mean hell there's even a calculator and diagram where you enter the frequency of your desired antenna (j pole, ground plane, 3 element yagi, 7 element Yagi, and like 20 other antenna types). It shows you exactly how to cut each element.

This app has quick calculation tools for everything radio-math, and it's worth the PRO upgrade just for that. Not to mention you can design some complicated antennas, with little effort, using the Amateur Radio Toolkit. I upgraded after checking out just 3 of the many tools it offers the Ham operator. Dipole, vertical, quad-cube, signal mapping, resistance, resistors in series vs parallel, wire gauges, Q codes, and more, and more and more; at your finger tips. 73s from Shenandoah Valley VA.
