Open the document you are looking for and focus on reading.
OpenRead is a document viewer that allows you to find and read everything from PDFs, Hangul, and Word documents stored on your device to slides and spreadsheets all in one place.
View your device's documents at a glance
If you allow file access permissions when you first launch the app, it automatically finds supported documents from your available storage. You can open them directly from the list without having to import files one by one.
Quickly find the file you want
Narrow the list using the file type chip or search by file name. You can easily find the documents you need by sorting by newest or name.
Reading screen tailored to the document
Zoom in and move pages for PDFs, and view Hangul and Word documents on the mobile reading screen. PPTX can be viewed by slide, while XLS, XLSX, and CSV can be viewed as sheets and tables. You can save your reading position to continue reading later.
Font comfortable for your eyes
You can adjust the body text size on the text reading screen. Adjust the font size for Home and Menu using the separate slider in the More menu.
View documents within your device
Use the app without signing up or logging in. Documents are not uploaded to a server or converted remotely. Documents stored on your device can be read offline, and both the original archive copy and the read data are stored internally on the device.
Supported Formats
PDF, HWP, HWPX, DOC, DOCX, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, CSV, TXT, Markdown, EPUB, ODT, RTF
Older PPT files are not supported. Please convert them to PPTX or PDF. Display may be restricted for encrypted documents, complex formatting, macros, embedded objects, etc. Display methods may vary depending on the document structure and device support.
The document reading feature is available without ads, in-app purchases, or subscriptions, and the app does not limit the number of documents.
Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Help can be found in the More menu within the app.
