Connect with your family and friends for hours of online, strategic fun with Hidden Unders, the exciting card game designed for 2-6 online players.
Game Overview:
The objective is to play all cards in your hand, followed by the 4 "Overs" cards, and finally reaching the Hidden Unders.
Each player is dealt twelve cards. The first four of the twelve cards are automatically placed face down as the Hidden Unders cards. The remaining eight cards are placed in each player's hand. On each player's first turn, four cards from their hand are strategically placed as Overs cards on top of the player's face down Hidden Unders cards. The player will then have four cards in hand and will work to play cards from low to high (2 - Ace).
On each players turn they may play one or more cards that either match the number or are greater than the number of the card on top of the Playpile. If a player has more than one card of the same number, they may play all cards of that number onto the Playpile in the same turn.
If four cards of the same number are played, the pile is cleared and the player who played the fourth card of that number can draw, then start a new Playpile with any card from their hand. If the player does not have a card that matches or is higher than the top card, they may play a 2 or 10.
2 and 10 are special cards and can be played on top of any card. 2 resets the pile back to 2 without clearing the Playpile. 10 clears the Playpile. After clearing the Playpile the player can draw and play again, starting a new Playpile with any card from their hand.
When starting a new Playpile, playing the lowest card in one’s hand is usually the most strategic move, however, sometimes it is wise to play a high card, thus preventing others from clearing all cards.
If a player has no playable cards, the cards in the Playpile are automatically added to the players hand and the next player can play any card in their hand, starting a new Playpile.
At the end of each players turn they must draw enough cards to have four cards in their hand. If a player has had to pick up a pile they will have more than four cards in their hand and will not need to draw any cards. However, they will still need to press the Draw/Done pile to indicate the end of their turn.
Once the deck is empty, players will continue playing as established and then press Draw/Done to finish their turn. Once a player’s hand is empty, they will play their Overs cards, followed by Hidden Unders cards. When the player makes it to the final four cards (Hidden Unders), they can only play one card at a time, thus, after playing a card, turn will change to the next player automatically.
If a player must pick up the Playpile after they have started playing the Overs or Hidden Unders, they must empty their hand again before playing any more cards from their Overs or Hidden Unders.
Once a player has played all cards in their hand and cleared their Hidden Unders cards, the round is over.
