Little info about nitnem :-

Nitnem (Punjabi: ਨਿਤਨੇਮ) is a collection of Sikh hymns (Gurbani) to be read minimally 3 different times of the day. These are mandatory and to be read by every Amritdhari Sikh as expressed in the Sikh Rehat Maryada. Optionally additional prayers may be added to a Sikh's nitnem. There are five hymns (Five Banis) to be done during Amrit Vela (early morning), the Rehras Sahib hymn for the evening, and Kirtan Sohila for the night. The morning and evening prayers should be followed by an Ardaas.

You can read Nitnem 'in Hindi' or 'in Punjabi' and can read the meaning of path while reading or listening to 'Nitnem Audio'. The purpose of this app is to let the busy and mobile young generation reconnect with Sikhism and "Gurubani" by reading the path on mobile. App have Nanakshahi Calendar 2020-2023 with all Sikh events dates.


Features of Gutka Sahib & nitnem app (गुटका साहिब, गुटखा) :-

1. Nitnem --> Have all nitnem bani's (नितनेम, नितनेम ऑडियो, नितनेम हिंदी). Below is a list of these.
Japji Sahib, Jaap Sahib, Tav Prasad Svayye, Chaupai Sahib, Anand Sahib, Asa Di Var, Rehras Sahib, Kirtan Sohila, Aarti, Ardas, Barah Mahaa, Basant Ki Vaar, Dukh Bhajani Sahib, Laavan, Raag Maala, Ramkali Sadh, Salok Mahalla 9, Shabad Hazare and Sukhmani Sahib. You can listen nitnem audio too side by side when you are doing path.

2. Sehaj path --> You need to do one-time download to do Sehaj path which will take less than one minute to download. After that, you can zoom in and out sehaj path text by with fingers while doing path. Moreover, Sehaj path will stay on the same page number where you left last time. In addition to it, Sehaj path is with indexing mean you can check that which pankti is on which page.

3. Nitnem audio --> You can listen all the Nitnem audio (nitnem audio free in Punjabi, nitnem gutka sahib in Hindi) any time.
- The pause button will stop audio and let you play path from where you left
- The stop button will stop path completely. If you play again, the path will start from the current page

4. Live kirtan --> Listen Live Kirtan from Sri Harmandir Sahib || Golden Temple || 24/7 Live Shabad Kirtan and Listen to Kirtan Gurbani from World Gurdwaras Live Radio Stations. Listen to Nitnem, Listen to Akhand Path Sahib, and many more. This app lets people know about preachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

5. Today's hukamnama --> Get daily updated Hukamnama from Shri Harmandir Sahib. You can check all Hukamnama's till 2003.

6. Nanakshahi Calendar 2020-2021 (Jantri) --> Nanakshahi Jantri or Nanakshahi calendar 2021 app is useful for people of Punjab and Punjabi speaking people across the world. This is available up to December 2021 for now.

7. Sikh Guru's --> List of all Sikh Guru's and basic history of there life's.

8. Guru Granth Sahib --> Detail history and description of Guru Granth Sahib.

this is very good app for everyday meditation 🙏 all the Gurbani s are well explained audio is good. if can't read then you can listen any paath with clear voice but one thing is which I am not satisfied with Shri guru granth sahib ji 🙏 it has no audio. My kindly request to you please add audio with whole Shri guru granth sahib ji paath. it will be much better.

Great Respect for those whose ideas contributed in digitalisation of Gurbani Nitname. Request for the the dark mode option if possible.

I gave only one star because whenever I start a audio of Sukhmani sahib path it does work properly, like at some point the audio stop like it's going on but I can't listen the voice. I thought it happen due to internet problem, but I noticed that it's problem with app.
