Day Off is a corporate leave management app that helps teams track and approve time-off in one place. Submit vacation, sick-leave or day-off requests, follow your balance, and get notified the moment your manager approves — without scattered chats and spreadsheets.

✦ WHO IT'S FOR

Day Off is designed for companies that want to streamline how absences are tracked and approved. Accounts are provisioned by your HR or admin — there is no self-signup through the app.

Leave requests
• Vacation, sick leave, day-off and quota-increase requests.
• Full days or partial-day (hour-based) selection.
• Comments and reasons attached to every request.
• Cancel a request any time before it is approved.

Approvals
• Configurable approval pipeline: department lead, specific approvers, or approver groups.
• Push notifications and email for every status change — new request, approval, rejection, cancellation.
• Approved leaves are automatically added to your calendar (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar) via .ics attachments. Cancelled leaves are removed automatically.

Balance and history
• Real-time vacation and sick-leave balance in hours.
• Full history of accruals, deductions, manual adjustments and yearly resets.
• Configurable yearly policy: full reset or carry-over of the remaining balance.

For managers and HR
• Company- and department-level leave overview.
• Export reports to Excel or Google Sheets for any period.
• Reminders to the team about upcoming colleague absences.
• Manage users, departments, company policies and approval templates.

✦ SECURITY AND PRIVACY

• All network traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2+.
• Access is enforced by Firestore Security Rules at the database level — every request is checked against your role.
• Day Off does not use advertising networks, behavioural trackers or data brokers.
• Data is processed only by trusted infrastructure providers (Google Firebase) under a Data Processing Agreement.

✦ ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

Day Off is an enterprise app — accounts are provisioned and managed by your company's administrator. To delete your account, please contact your HR or admin; they will initiate removal of your data from the system.

To sign in you need an email and password provided by your company's administrator. If your organisation is not yet on Day Off, contact Brander to onboard.
