About this app

DaycareLogix is the mobile app for families and staff at the childcare centers and adult day programs that run on DaycareLogix.

Sign-in is invite-only. Your center creates your account and sends you an invite; the app has no public sign-up and cannot create an account for you. If you don't have an invite yet, ask your center's office.

FOR FAMILIES

• Today at a glance: who's checked in, today's photos, the daily report, and anything waiting for your signature.
• Daily report: arrival, meals, naps, potty, mood, notes and photos, in order.
• Moments: photos from your child's room. Open one full-screen, pinch to zoom, add a heart, or reply straight into the room's message thread.
• Messages: write to your child's room or to the front office. Both guardians in a household see the same threads, so you don't have to forward anything.
• QR check-in: scan the rotating code on the lobby screen to check your children in from your own phone. The code changes every 60 seconds, so a screenshot taken at home won't work.
• Forms, packets and consents: fill out and e-sign enrollment paperwork, and read back anything you have already signed.
• Statements and payments: see what's due and pay by card through a secure hosted checkout, when your center has online payments turned on.
• Español: switch the app to Spanish. Where your center has enabled message translation, you can write in Spanish and staff read it in English.
• Notification controls: mute the categories you don't want (photos, daily reports, check-in and check-out, messages, billing, incidents and emergency alerts).

FOR STAFF

• Rooms: check children in and out from the floor, with the room's live ratio on screen.
• Meal counts: record CACFP point-of-service counts at the table, room by room. Allergies and diet orders show on the child's own row.
• Moments: shoot a photo, tag the children in it, add a caption, post. Children without a signed photo release are badged and cannot be tagged; the Post button stays off until every tagged child is clear.
• Daily log: meals, naps, potty, mood and notes, with a safe-sleep verification tick.
• Medications and incidents: record an administration, or file an incident with type, severity, body location and the action taken.
• Pickup: release a child to an authorized person, recording who collected them, who released them, how they were verified, and when.
• Time clock: clock in and out, with your last seven days and a running total.
• Emergency alerts: run a drill or a live event from the floor with the protocol checklist and a live roll call.
• Works offline: check-ins, meal counts, punches, moments, daily logs, roll-call marks and incidents save on the phone the instant you tap, then sync when there's signal, without recording anything twice.
• Tap to Pay: directors on Android can take a contactless card payment on the phone. The payment SDK reads the card, and the number never reaches DaycareLogix.

WHAT IT COSTS

The app is free for every family member and every staff member at a center with a DaycareLogix subscription, and it has no in-app purchases.

PRIVACY

Records in DaycareLogix belong to your care program, not to us. We do not sell them, mine them for advertising, or use them to train AI models. This app contains no ads and no analytics or tracking SDKs. Our payment processor handles card numbers, and DaycareLogix never stores them.

What’s new

Fixes in this update:

• Going back from a message thread now returns to your messages instead of the home screen.
• Check-in now tells you when the lobby code has expired and offers to scan again, instead of saying the center could not be reached.
• The e-signature agreement now shows the full wording that is recorded with your signature.
