Dayt is a real-time dating app built around active presence, not static profiles.

Most dating apps continue showing profiles even when users haven’t opened the app in days or weeks. Dayt works differently.

On Dayt, users must complete a daily selfie or short video verification to appear in discovery. If a user stops showing up, their profile is automatically removed from the feed and becomes invisible to others. This selfie or short video is available for all other users to see, encouraging authenticity and showing your true, unedited self.

This creates a fundamentally different dating experience where everyone you see is currently active and participating in real time.

Unlike traditional dating apps where photos are heavily curated, outdated, or disconnected from reality, Dayt’s daily verification system encourages users to show up authentically. Verification selfies and videos are visible to other users, creating a new form of interaction based around real presence, current appearance, and everyday authenticity.
