Ramadan is an opportunity from Allah - to fulfill one's desires, to admit one's guilt and get forgiveness. Because, in this month, Allah opened the door of forgiveness.
Have you committed any sin other than shirk? No matter how many sins, forgiveness is only for one person!
How great a sin have you committed? The door of God's forgiveness is bigger than that!
How hard have you sinned? The court of the Lord is more generous than that!
God can forgive when He wills, if He wills, yet He has specialized some time for forgiveness. As if the servant is eager to ask forgiveness and the blackened heart is inspired to wash away the tears of repentance. He has raised the hope of forgiveness in those times. Ramadan is such a time. A gift from him, a golden opportunity. To be purified, to be enlightened in whiteness, to have a heart free from ink.
