Scan a pass. Get one clear answer. Move the line.
StagePass is access control and accreditation for live events. It turns a phone into a gate terminal for tours, festivals, conferences and venues: point it at a credential and it answers in under a second — Allowed or Denied, with the reason and the areas that pass actually opens.
WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
Loading docks, arena basements, green fields. Every pass, ticket, event, area and access level is cached on the device before doors, and the verdict is resolved on the device rather than on a server. Scans taken offline are queued and sync the moment there's a network again, so nothing is lost and no one waits at a gate for a spinner.
Before doors, one tap on Prepare for Offline pulls everything the device needs and tells you when it's ready. The sync screen shows what's cached, what's queued and when the device last heard from the server — no guessing whether a phone is current.
ONE ANSWER, NOT A SCREENFUL
A guard shouldn't have to interpret data at a door. Allowed shows the holder, their badge photo, the access levels they hold and the areas those levels open. Denied says which of six things went wrong: pass expired, pass revoked, not assigned to this event, wrong event, outside the scan window, or no access to this area.
ACCREDITATION WITHOUT THE PAPERWORK
Register a person, capture a badge photo with the camera, choose their access level, issue the credential. Duplicate people are caught as you type. Print QR labels straight from the app through the system print dialog, or email a batch to yourself for laminating — every pass for an event, or only the ones added or changed since the last print, which is what you want when twenty more crew land on show day.
ONE PASS PER PERSON, OR A TICKET PER SHOW
Run a single laminate for the whole tour, or issue a separate ticket for every date. Switch modes in Settings; the gate handles both without the guard needing to know which is in play.
SCAN WINDOWS, AREAS AND ACCESS LEVELS
Give every event its own scan window and scanning opens and closes on schedule — no one has to remember to switch the gate on. Define your own areas (Stage, Backstage, Photo Pit, Production Office, Loading Dock) and the access levels that open them, and change them mid-run without reissuing a single pass.
GUARDS, ROLES AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Create guard logins from inside the app, set them active or inactive, reset a password when someone loses a phone. Every scan carries the operator and device that made it, and the activity log shows who came through, when, and on which door. Revoke a credential and the next scan denies it, on every device.
STAYS CURRENT ON ITS OWN
Devices update in the background and after a silent push, pulling only what changed rather than the whole book. A built-in integrity check catches a device whose cache has drifted and repairs it.
WHO IT'S FOR
Tour managers, production managers, festival accreditation teams, venue and stadium security, conference organisers and event security companies — anyone running a door where the wrong person walking through is a real problem and the network is not to be trusted.
SECURITY
Two-factor authentication with any authenticator app, encrypted token storage on the device, and passes validated against signed tokens rather than a bare id in a QR code.
StagePass requires an account provided by your production, venue or security company. Contact your administrator if you don't have one yet.
