About this app

Hide files, photos and contacts on your phone. No account, no cloud.

Dead Pixel hides files, photos, videos, contacts and notes on your phone. Everything you hide stays on your own device. There is no account to create, no server to upload to, and nothing about you is ever sent anywhere.

WHAT'S INSIDE

Hidden file vault — import photos, videos, documents and archives through Android's own file picker. Dead Pixel sorts them into folders automatically by type, so the vault stays organized without any effort.
Hidden contacts — a separate address book from your phone's. Names, numbers, emails, addresses and notes, with quick links to a profile you have saved.
Calendar and to-do list — a simple day-by-day planner that stays hidden with everything else.
Export anything, any time — your files are yours. Send any item back out to your Downloads folder whenever you want.

HOW IT STAYS HIDDEN

Most private-storage apps announce themselves with a padlock icon. Dead Pixel doesn't. Once setup is finished, opening the app plays a screen fault that looks like the real thing —failing display behaves like a glitch and is not a generic looking prank. Then the phone drops back to your home screen the way a crashed app would.

The vault opens only after a gesture you choose yourself . You can also choose which icon Dead Pixel wears on your home screen from a set of simple alternatives. And even a real app icon from another app that is on the play store, WireTrace AI a schematic step by step voice controlled reader. try it out.

BUILT TO STAY LOCAL

No account, no sign-up, no email address required
No cloud storage — nothing is ever uploaded
No ads, no analytics, no tracking of any kind
Internet access is used for one thing only: opening a profile link you have saved. Those links open incognito and sandboxed — no cookies, no history, no shared storage with any other app, and everything is wiped the moment you close it

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU START

Dead Pixel does not encrypt anything. Hidden files are stored in Dead Pixel's private app storage, which other apps on your phone cannot read, and they are kept out of your gallery and file manager. That is the protection it offers. Anyone with access to your unlocked phone and your gesture can reach the vault, and anyone with root access or a forensic tool can reach the files directly.

Because everything lives on your device and nowhere else, uninstalling Dead Pixel or clearing its app data deletes everything you have hidden, permanently. There is no copy on a server, and no way for anyone to recover it for you. Export anything you want to keep before you uninstall or switch phones.

SUBSCRIPTION

Dead Pixel Pro unlocks the vault. It begins with a 3-day free trial, then continues as a monthly subscription. You can cancel at any time in your Google Play subscription settings, and cancelling before the trial ends means you are not charged.

What’s new

Hide photos, videos, documents and archives in a private vault — sorted into folders for you.

Open the app and it plays a failing screen: dead pixels, flicker, tearing. It closes itself. Only your own gesture opens the vault.

Also inside: a separate contacts list and a day-by-day to-do calendar. A recycle bin, so a mis-tap isn't permanent. Export anything, any time.

No account. No cloud. Nothing leaves your device.

3-day free trial, then monthly.
