💳 SIMPLE PERSONAL FINANCE TRACKING

Mr Bit is a clear personal finance tracker for recording funds added to your budget, everyday spending, and the resulting balance. The app keeps the process direct: enter an amount, choose the record type, select a category, and save the entry. Each saved record updates the totals immediately, giving you a simple view of your current financial activity.

Mr Bit focuses on practical manual tracking. It does not connect to bank accounts, transfer funds, process payments, provide loans, or offer investment services. All amounts are entered by the user and used only to organize personal records inside the app.

🏠 HOME OVERVIEW

The Home screen in Mr Bit displays the current balance, the total amount added, and the total amount spent. Recent records appear below the summary, allowing you to review the latest activity without opening another section.

The balance changes automatically whenever a record is added or removed. Added amounts increase the result, while spending records reduce it. Values are shown without a fixed currency symbol, so users can interpret the numbers according to their preferred currency.

➕ ADD A NEW RECORD

Mr Bit includes a dedicated Add screen for entering financial activity. Type an amount, choose whether the record adds funds or represents spending, and select a category. Tap the add button to save the record.

The amount field supports decimal values. The selected record type and category remain visually highlighted before saving, helping you confirm the entry. After a valid record is added, Mr Bit returns to the Home screen and refreshes the balance, totals, recent activity, and statistics.

📂 CLEAR CATEGORIES

For amounts added, Mr Bit provides Salary, Bonus, Gift, Refund, and Other. For spending, the available categories are Food, Transport, Shopping, Bills, Entertainment, Health, and Other.

Every category includes a recognizable icon. The chosen category is displayed in the saved record, making the history easier to scan. These categories are fixed within the current version and do not require additional setup.

🕘 SAVED RECORD HISTORY

Mr Bit places newly added records at the beginning of the transaction history. Each entry shows the category, record type, amount, date, and time. Different visual accents help separate amounts added from spending records.

An individual entry can be deleted directly from the list. When an entry is removed, all related totals and statistics are recalculated immediately. This allows users to correct an accidental or outdated record without clearing the complete history.

📊 FINANCIAL STATISTICS

The Stats section in Mr Bit presents the number of saved records, current balance, total added amounts, and total spending. It also groups spending records by category.

Category bars compare recorded spending across Food, Transport, Shopping, Bills, Entertainment, Health, and Other. The displayed values are based only on the entries currently saved in the app. When records change, the statistics update to match them.

⚙️ SETTINGS AND CONTROLS

Mr Bit includes settings for compact number formatting and touch feedback. Compact formatting shortens larger values when enabled. Touch feedback controls small vibration responses on supported devices.

The Settings section also provides an option to clear all saved records. Clearing the data removes the transaction history and resets the displayed totals, balance, record count, and category statistics.
