About this app
BringThis keeps one shared list for a potluck, picnic, BBQ, team lunch, or any gathering where people bring things. It is a sign up sheet that lives at one link.
Someone has to sort out who is bringing what. Usually that means a spreadsheet nobody opens and a group chat full of maybes.
How it works
Name the event. That is the only required field. The board opens right away, with no account needed to get started.
List what is needed. Plates, a main dish, a cooler, someone to set up. A name and a quantity are enough. Date and place are optional.
Share one invite link when you are ready. At that point you sign in with Google or Apple. Send the link however you already talk to people.
Guests open the link on the web, with nothing to install, or in the app. They sign in, tap Join event, and see the board.
Guests promise what they will bring. Each row shows what is still needed. A promise appears as confirmed only after the server has recorded it. Undo cancels it for real.
If you allow it, guests can add items you did not think of.
Host controls
Who can join: anyone with the invite link, or ask me first.
Guests can: add and contribute, contribute only, or view only.
Who sees names: only me, or members of this event.
What to expect
There is no feed and no public search. An event can only be found by its link.
There is no email or password login. Sign-in is Google or Apple only.
There are no ads.
Nothing counts down or pressures anyone.

BringThis Pro is an optional subscription, monthly or yearly, for hosts who run events often: saved custom templates, scheduled reminder emails before an event, a CSV export of the board, and higher limits on open events and items. Billed through Google Play; renews until you cancel it in Google Play > Subscriptions.
