Impostors are among us. Can your friends fool you?
Deceivr is a word-based social deduction party game for 3 to 15 players, on a single phone. Everyone gets the same secret word — everyone except the impostor. Bluff, listen, and work out who's faking it.
HOW TO PLAY
1. GATHER YOUR CREW
Add players and pick a word category. One or more impostors are chosen in secret — they might not know the category, and they might not even know each other.
2. PEEK AT YOUR WORD
Pass the phone around. Everyone secretly reads their word. Insiders get the full word. Impostors only get the category — or nothing at all. Keep that face straight.
3. DROP YOUR CLUE
Go around the group and each say ONE word as a clue. Not too obvious, not too vague. Impostors: stay calm, listen hard, ride the wave.
4. VOTE 'EM OUT
Debate, accuse, point fingers. Vote for who you think is the impostor. Guess wrong and the impostor wins.
