VPN SERVICE NOTICE
Defenras uses Android's VpnService to create a local DNS-only VPN on your device. No traffic is routed to any external server. All DNS filtering happens entirely on-device to block malicious domains. No browsing data is collected, logged or transmitted.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE NOTICE
Defenras uses Android's Accessibility Service to power two parental control features:

1. App Blocker — detects when a blocked app (e.g. TikTok, Instagram) becomes active on screen and immediately closes it. Only the app package name is read. No app content, messages or personal data is accessed.

2. Purchase PIN Gate — reads the visible text of on-screen buttons to detect purchase actions (e.g. "Buy Now", "Pay Now", "Place Order"). When detected, a parent PIN prompt appears before the purchase completes. No passwords, payment details or typed text are accessed.

A full disclosure screen explaining this permission is shown on first launch, immediately after onboarding and before the main screen, prior to the Accessibility Service being enabled. The user must explicitly tap "I Agree" or "I Decline" — navigating away does not constitute consent. Declining leaves every other feature working, and the service can be turned off at any time in Android Settings.

The Accessibility Service does NOT record, log or transmit any screen content, keystrokes, personal data or browsing history. All processing happens entirely on-device. This app is not a monitoring or surveillance tool.
