Ratings and reviews

This app has been able to successfully identify almost every wine via photo, occasionally mixing up a different variety of the same brand. Out of a couple dozen bottles, only once did it fail to recognize a bottle at all. Scrolling through previous ratings to see if we have already tried a particular bottle has not been intuitive, we haven't seen an obvious search function yet. Not a problem yet, but may become one as we add more photos.

Where the cool kids post their empty bottles. At least it was at one point. App is possibly abandoned? No Android updates in over 3yrs, and not much better on iOS. Maybe this proved too hard to monetize for Vinous? Oh well, I still appreciate it for what it is. Fiddly and glitchy, but core functionality is mostly worthwhile.

Update: Today, I got the same error that I've gotten often in the past: API Error 500: internal_server_error when I tried to check the price on a wine I had just entered. This app has had ups and downs and I've posted reviews accordingly. Today, the "Check price" feature is returning an error message: "API error 500: internal_server_error. 10-31-2021 and I just got this error AGAIN trying to check a wine's price. C'mon guys - fix it already (again)! BTW - the app is up to date on my phone
