Outstanding! Hands down, the BEST rudiments App on android. I don't say that lightly. Great teaching tool for beginners & advanced drummers. It's always been that you work with a student and demonstrate them and they go home and follow a metronome. Which in many cases works but when it comes to hearing how rolls/drags are played, a metronome cannot offer that. If I can make a suggestion, it would be great to see it even go to the next level and have a video example of them being played. Regardless, well done!
It's very good but u request to give function of pre count of metronome because it directly plays sound. So we miss beginning cycle and we have to wait for next cycle. And of Possible sound should be little loud.
I've been a drummer for almost 20 years now. This rudiment app is awesome. It's great that you can search the rudiments based on category... but I absolutely LOVE the fact that he's included the 'mode' feature. You can select if you want to hear the rudiment starting slow and increasing tempo, etc. I personally think the sound quality is fine. I teach drum lessons, and will be telling my students to get this app now!!!
I hope there will be some touch buttons on it where you can play sticking using fingers. But its a great app and less hassle, whenever I try paradiddles
Great app but the metronome sound is really bad. Other than that is good. Edit: I didn't know it cost money lol. Awesome app them! 5 Starts now! lol
NEEDS TO INCLUDE TIME SIGNATURES BEFORE THIS APP CAN BE HELPFUL TO NEW DRUMMERS! Otherwise it could damage their ability to read music. For instance the single stroke roll is written in 32nd notes but performed on recording as 16ths assuming the 120 is a quarter note pulse. This can teach new drummers the wrong way to read music, and that is far more harm to their playing than it is helpful. Fantastic idea for an app but I have seen many of these rudiments played incorrectly to a quarter note pulse. Extremely confusing for people when they try to read these rudiments in music!
