Dementia Dialer is a beautifully simple calling app designed specifically for
people living with dementia. Instead of a complex phone interface, the patient sees only large, clear photographs of their loved ones. One tap on a photo immediately makes the call.

HOW IT WORKS FOR THE PATIENT
The patient sees a full-screen display showing up to six large photo buttons — one for each family member or carer. There are no menus, no settings, no
distractions. Tapping a photo dials that person immediately using the phone's built-in calling app. After the call ends, the screen returns to the photo display automatically.

The app launches automatically when the phone is switched on and remains as the only thing the patient can see, preventing confusion from accidentally
opening other apps.

DESIGNED WITH CARE
• Large, clear face photographs — familiar faces are easier to recognise
than names or numbers
• Automatic photo sizing — one contact fills the screen, up to six contacts
arrange neatly in a scrollable grid
• Screen dims automatically after calls to save battery
• Launches on boot — no setup needed each time the phone is powered on
• Back button and home button are disabled so patients cannot accidentally
leave the app

EASY SETUP FOR CARERS
Family members and carers can add contacts without any login or password.
To access the setup screen, simply tap the top-right corner of the screen
seven times.

For each contact you can:
• Take a photo with the camera or choose one from the gallery
• Enter their name and relationship (e.g. "Sarah — Daughter")
• Enter their phone number
• Edit or remove contacts at any time

PRIVACY AND SECURITY
• All data is stored locally on the phone — nothing is sent to any server
• No account or internet connection required
• No adverts, no tracking, no data collection
• No login or password required

REQUIREMENTS
• Android 8.0 or later
• Phone call capability
• Camera (optional, for taking contact photos)
