The New Psalm Translation is an initiative of the "Dicht bij de Bijbel" (Close to the Bible) Foundation. The authors are: Jan Pieter Kuijper, Arie Maasland, Adriaan Molenaar, Bob Vuijk, Arjen Vreugdenhil, Titia Lindeboom, Jan Boom, Ria Borkent, and René Barkema.
