About this app

Amentas Rutiere is an independent application designed for quick consultation of contravention legislation in the road sector.

The application provides a search engine designed for quick identification of contraventions, legal basis, sanctions and applicable complementary measures.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Quick search in legislation

You can search by words, expressions, article number or common formulations used in everyday activity.

• Natural language search

The search engine also recognizes common terms, not only the exact formulation of the regulatory act, to allow faster identification of the relevant provision.

• Framing of the contravention
For each act, the following are presented, as appropriate:
- description of the act;
- article that provides for it;
- article that sanctions it;
- class or limits of the sanction;
- amount of the fine;
- the amount representing half of the minimum fine, where applicable;
- complementary measures;
- other relevant information for the application of the sanction.

• Models for completing the report
For many contraventions, an indicative model for describing the act can be accessed directly, with fields that can be completed depending on the specific situation.

• Consistency checks
For certain situations, such as exceeding the speed limit or driving under the influence of alcohol, the application can signal if the values ​​entered do not correspond to the selected category of act.

These warnings are for guidance only and do not replace checking the legislation applicable to the specific situation.

• Favorites
Frequently used provisions can be saved for quick access.

• Recently accessed items
The application stores the last provisions consulted locally, so that you can quickly return to them.

• "Good to know" section
Contains useful information regarding the application of road legislation, contesting the report and other practical aspects.

REGULATORY ACTS INCLUDED

The application allows the consultation and search of contraventions and relevant information provided, among others, by:

- Emergency Ordinance No. 195/2002 on traffic on public roads – Road Code;
- Law No. 38/2003 on taxi and rental transport;
- Emergency Ordinance No. 49/2019 on alternative transport activities with a car and driver;
- Government Ordinance No. 15/2002 on the application of the user fee and the toll on the national road network in Romania;
- Government Ordinance No. 1317/2023, on road transport;
- Government Ordinance No. 37/2007, on driving periods, breaks, rest periods and the use of recording devices;
- as well as other relevant legislative provisions included in the application.

The content of the application is updated periodically to reflect legislative changes introduced in the database.
