Chama Yetu is a simple Android app designed to enhance the financial freedom of Kenyans. A chama is a group of people who come together to save money collectively.

Traditionally, chamas record their transactions manually, making it difficult to review past transactions. Additionally, verifying transactions is challenging since only the secretary has access to the records, which are often kept in a physical book.

Chama Yetu solves these issues by allowing anyone to create a chama and add friends or family members. With the power of your smartphone, you can access transactions from anywhere. Since the data is stored in the cloud, it's easy to view it on any device.

Creating an account is simple. Once you’re set up, you can create multiple chamas and add as many members as you like. Transactions are transmitted instantaneously to all group members.

Additionally, the app supports loans, enabling chama members to borrow from the savings and repay with interest as agreed upon by the members.
