About this app

Tapkasa is a cash register in your pocket, for a coffee shop, school fair, festival bar or pop-up that lives for one weekend. Open the app, tap the menu and sell. No registration, no account, no internet.

Tapkasa RECORDS sales, does not process payments. You accept cash at the cash register, card on its own terminal, Tapkasa counts it, monitors the queue and at the end of the day tells you how much you have earned.

SALE IN THREE TAPS
• Each item is a colored card, the staff recognizes it before they read the name. Choose from 14 matching colors, or mix your own on the wheel.
• Tap to add a piece to the account, hold the card for a second to remove it. It can't be done by mistake, the card fills the bar when held.
• "+ Other amount" solves anything outside the menu.
• You can return a wrongly saved bill with one tap.

CASH AND CARD
• For cash, you tap what the customer gave you, and Tapkasa will calculate how much to return.
• For card, you just confirm the amount charged on your terminal.

ORDER QUEUE
• The paid bill is added to the queue as an order with a number.
• Items are checked off (for multiple items 1/2, 2/2), "Issued" closes the order, and it can be returned.
• The number of pending orders is always visible in the header.

TWO DEVICES: CASH REGISTER AND DISPENSER
• You switch the second device to the Dispensing role: it only accepts orders and checks them off, it cannot be charged to it by mistake.
• Pairing takes a minute, one device creates a code, the other writes it down.
• The dispensing machine can read new orders out loud, the operator does not have to look at the display.
• Bonus: the dispensing device has a copy of sales, the backup is free.

OVERVIEW AND CLOSING
• Total sales, cash/card breakdown, sold items by item.
• You can copy the summary as text, for example into an accountant's report.
• A summary tax document for the selected period: with your data, send by e-mail or print.
• "Close action" will archive the sales and reset the cash register for further sales.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS
• Everything remains on your device, stored in two independent copies.
• No accounts, no analytics, no ads.
• The backup is plain text, you can copy it to notes or email and restore the cash register from it at any time.
• It works offline; a signal outage will not stop sales.

FREE AND PRO
Free: complete cash register on one device, up to 10 paid invoices per day, no charge for smaller events.
Tapkasa Pro (subscription): unlimited billing and pairing of a second device. Subscription is charged via Google Play and can be canceled at any time in account settings.

Tapkasa does not keep accounts or issue tax documents, it is a fast cash register for sales, where today it is calculated on paper.
