DRIVIZY is an app designed for learner drivers and their accompanying drivers.
Outside of typical family driving routes, accompanying drivers sometimes feel lost and unsure of how to guide their students through challenging situations.
To help them with this, DRIVIZY is an app that guides and provides feedback on driving situations based on road infrastructure.
The learner and accompanying driver follow pre-recorded advice that is played as they pass GPS waypoints.
In a given city, several routes are available as a basis for practice. The starting point is identified beforehand in the app. A function allows users to easily navigate to it.
A map allows users to visualize their progress by following the various GPS waypoints.
Access to DRIVIZY is free for students of participating driving schools but requires a paid subscription for external users.
The app is available on the Play Store and the App Store.
At the end of the course, a summary is provided based on the time taken to complete it.
If the course is too fast, it may indicate speeding or overly aggressive driving. Conversely, if it is too slow, it may indicate a lack of vehicle control or poor anticipation.
For effective training, the courses can be repeated as many times as desired.
