About this app

DCmove is the official app for DCmove door and gate automation systems. It needs a DCmove device and an account: on its own it has nothing to show.

Install a door, hand it over, and keep it running - standing in front of it, or from the other side of the country.

What you can do

• Open, close and part-open a door, and watch its real position while it moves
• See every door you look after in one list, with the ones offline, in alarm or due for service marked
• Set up a new device from scratch: scan its QR code, reach it over Bluetooth, and hand it your Wi-Fi
• Find the devices already on your network without leaving the app
• Read and change the whole parameter set, and save your own presets to apply to the next door
• Follow cycles, running hours and the service countdown, and see maintenance coming before it falls due
• Read the live I/O state of the board when a fault has to be understood
• Go through a door's event log entry by entry, each one with the cycle it happened on
• Programme the weekly schedule that blocks or allows automatic movements
• Update device firmware over the air, or over Bluetooth where there is no network
• Change the words the door shows on its own display, and put your logo on it
• Open a support request with photos, diagnostics and the door log already attached
• Read the manual of the exact model in front of you, and keep it offline

Who it is for

Installers, manufacturers, and the people who use the doors every day. An installer sets the machine up and hands over a door that works; whoever uses it opens and closes it, and sees when it needs attention. What each account may see and change follows the level it was given.

What you need

A DCmove device and an account. Registration is free and takes a minute. Without a device the app opens on an empty list: there is nothing to control until one is added.

The app speaks English, Italian, French, Spanish, German and Portuguese.

Privacy

The app talks to Dervet's own servers in Italy, over encrypted connections, and to nothing else: no advertising, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party services. Bluetooth reaches a device you are standing next to; the camera reads a QR code; your photo library is opened only for the pictures you attach to a support request yourself.

First public release.

Set up a DCmove door from your phone, then keep it running: open and close it, follow its parameters and presets, watch cycles and maintenance, read the live I/O and the event log, and update the firmware over the air or over Bluetooth.
