The Verfrut Group is a fruit company with Chilean capitals dedicated to the production, processing and export of fresh fruit. The group is conformed by:
Verfrut Exporting Society
Dedicated to the export of fruit. The exporter was born in 1996 and currently the export of fresh fruit reaches 7 million boxes (65 million KG approx). 100% of the fruit exported by Verfrut is OWN PRODUCTION.
Agricultural Society El Porvenir
Company dedicated to the production and processing of export fruit. Born in 1991 in the Rapel Valley, located 150 km. southwest of Santiago. Today it operates a total of 15 fruit fields with 3,500 hectares planted in Chile and 4 fruit processing plants located from the 4th Region (350 km north of Santiago) to the 7th Region of Chile (350 km south of Santiago).
Agricultural Society Rapel SAC (Verfrut Peru)
In February 2011, the company Sociedad Agrícola Rapel SAC was created in Peru, in which Sociedad Agrícola Porvenir S.A. participates in 80% of the property. Agrícola Rapel currently has fields with an area of more than 2,500 hectares, of which as of July 2015 1,700 hectares are planted with table grapes.
Vermar S.A.
Transport Vermar began its activities at the beginning of 2003, with the objective of satisfying the needs of Transport of Soc. Agrícola el Porvenir and Soc. Exportadora Verfrut Ltda. The first acquisition was of trucks with trailers for the transfer of export materials, agricultural machinery and process fruit. Transport Vermar has had significant growth in its fleet, acquiring trucks and trailers with tractor units, completing a total fleet of about 20 trucks.
Transport Vermar remains on the path of growth by acquiring trucks and tractor trucks annually and importing from the United States Refrigerating Chambers and Chassis Porta containers, to be inserted in the fruit-to-port services, being until now our main services. Likewise, it has diversified in the earthmoving services by buying modern hopper trucks for the construction of tranques and road arrangements.
United Cargo
In December 2010, Sociedad Exportadora Verfrut S.A. Together with 3 other partners, the United Cargo shipping company creates a 20% stake. This company is dedicated to negotiate and manage the shipping space of the partner companies, in addition to doing the same for third parties, in a short time being a market leader in Chile. In 2015, United Cargo enters the Peruvian market
