About this app

Groundflag is construction management for American contractors: remodelers, home builders, general contractors and specialty trades. Estimates, schedule, crew time, daily logs, change orders and invoices on one job, in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

One job, one place
Schedule, daily logs, photos, documents, money and people all hang on the job. Open the job and it is all there, not scattered across a menu of forty modules.

A field app the crew will use
Built for the foreman first: large targets for gloves, high contrast for direct sun, and autosave on everything typed.
• Clock in, two taps. The job is picked by where you stand, and while the app is open the office sees on the crew map where the team is (the last position only, no route history; sharing stops when the app is closed or in the background). The position also goes on the time card at clock in and clock out.
• Say it, and it is logged. Tap Tell the day and talk, in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Groundflag drafts the daily log; the foreman reviews it and signs.
• AI drafts, people confirm. Nothing that moves money is saved until a person confirms it on screen.

The job's money in sight
Budget, committed, actual, invoiced and paid, by cost code, updated the moment the fact happens: a time card approved, a purchase order sent, a bill entered. You see the overrun while there is still time to do something about it.

English, Spanish and Portuguese
Each person works in their own language, on the same job. The foreman logs in Spanish, the office reads it in English, and the estimate reaches the client in the client's language.

Estimates in minutes
Type the scope of the job and tap Draft with AI: the estimate gets its lines, priced from your own price book first, and nothing is saved until you look it over. Good, better, best options, a deposit on acceptance, and the client accepts and signs online. Change orders are signed by the client before the work.

Job photos the whole team shares
Photos by job and folder, markup on a photo, tags to find them, a photo report or a before and after in PDF, and a link that shows the client the photos. Your CompanyCam photos come in with their tags.

Get paid faster
Invoices the client pays by card or ACH in the client portal, and a payment link you can text to the client. Snap a receipt with Capture and the bill opens filled in: vendor, total, date and job. Two-way sync with QuickBooks Online.
