About this app
Make room for one task, or simply listen to the waves. FocusFlow combines a focus timer with sounds you can mix and return to without an account.
REAL WAVES, YOUR OWN MIX
Choose between two original shore recordings in Sounds > Soundscapes > Ocean waves. Both are included in the app, with gentle noise reduction, and loop continuously. Waves only removes the other layers with one tap. The library offers 26 variations across nine sound families: ocean waves, rain, brown noise, pink noise, fireplace, wind, stream, night crickets and deep tones. Mix up to four layers, adjust each volume, or start with one of five combinations. Your choices and volumes are saved.
LISTEN WHILE THE SCREEN IS OFF
Start listening in the app and control Android playback from the media notification or lock screen. Listening has no built-in time limit. The optional sleep timer offers 15 or 30 minutes, or 1, 2, 3, 10 or 24 hours; the focus timer and listening timer are separate. Phone interruptions and disconnected headphones pause playback when appropriate. Force-stopping the app or restarting the phone stops playback.
A TIMER FOR YOUR ROUTINE
Choose 25/5, 50/10 or 90/20 sessions, or set a custom focus duration up to 24 hours and a separate break duration. Unlimited count-up mode and ambient listening are also available. Keep tasks, goals and session history on your device. Flow scores summarize your activity; they are not health assessments. Optional tones and binaural sounds are listening features, with no promised medical or concentration benefit.
FREE FEATURES, LOCAL RECORDS
No login, subscription or in-app purchase is required. Ads support the app and are hidden during active listening. Core timers and bundled sounds work offline; ads and external fonts use the internet. Korean, English and Japanese are available.
Export session records as CSV or save and restore a JSON backup in Settings. There is no automatic cloud backup or cross-device sync. Back up records you want to keep before uninstalling.
