Sushi is an unofficial app for MyAnimeList. Browser or manage your anime/manga library with sushi. A minimal and elegant way to experience best of MyAnimeList.

This app uses official MAL API which is in early stages and lacks features such as writing reviews, adding friend, commenting etc. When these features will get added to the API we will add them to the app as well.

Ratings and reviews

I tried most of the MAL clients here but this one made me stay. I love how modern looking everything is. The problem is, when removing an anime/manga from a list, it won't refresh the list immediately. I had to go to another tab then go back to the list for it to refresh and sometimes it won't refresh at all. Lastly, the app tells me that my list can't be accessed when I'm opening it on Profile section when it works on the separate section for anime and manga list.

There are two issues in found in this app 1. When you select completed option in the app, the episode counter does not automatically go to max. No of episodes 2. Also the episode counter can count upto forever instead of stopping at the max no. Of episodes. Also here is a suggestion, 1. Instead of keeping watching as default when ever I add a anime to my list, I would rather like plan to watch. Great app btw. This is what I expected any MAL CLIENT to be like but haven't got it from one.

This is a really nice app with a great smooth UI. There are only few lacking features for me right now, that keeps me from giving it a 5/5. Like there is no option to add my start and end dates for the anime that I am watching or have completed. Plus the seasonal anime needs more sorting options then just 'Most members' or 'Highest Rating'. But other than these few minor things this is easily one of the best MAL client out there. 👍 Edit: Dev took my feedback & added few features. Thanks 👍
