About this game
Detective Killer is a hilarious pass-and-play party game for 4 to 9 friends. One phone. One secret Killer. One Detective. Everyone else is a Civilian fighting to survive.
HOW TO PLAY
1. Add everyone’s names and pass the phone around. Each player holds to reveal a secret role: Killer, Detective, or Civilian. The Detective announces out loud. The Killer stays silent.
2. Sit in a circle so you can see faces, put the phone in the middle, and look at each other. The Killer blinks one eye to “kill” a Civilian. If you’re winked at, die out loud — but never say who did it.
3. Tap Kill! to mark who died and keep the board up to date. The Killer must stay hidden while picking off Civilians one by one.
4. Only the Detective can Accuse!. Hold to unlock, then name who you think is the Killer. Catch them and the Detective wins. Miss — or let every Civilian fall first — and the Killer wins. If the Killer winks at the Detective by mistake, the Detective wins instantly.
