About this app
It is an English learning app where you study using audio podcasts.
The features provided by Deli are as follows:
• Learning Player - An audio player optimized for learning that offers features such as subtitles, previous/next dialogue, and playback speed adjustments.
• Vocabulary List - You can look up and take notes on unfamiliar words immediately while viewing subtitles.
• Shadowing - Become the host in the podcast and practice shadowing yourself.
• Word Quiz - Do you know this word?
• Meaning Quiz - Check your listening comprehension with a quiz.
• Dictation - Check how well you understand and identify where you might be missing words.
• Continuous Learning - Check how hard you are studying.
• Shorts - Browse through longer podcasts using Shorts and study them in advance.
Deli offers two types of content:
• RSS - These are podcasts available on the market. We are working 24/7 to add more interesting and diverse podcasts.
• Deli Podcasts - These are contents created by Deli. You can choose which language each host will speak in.
Q. Please tell me how to use it. A. If you are signing up for the first time, you will see the “First Time Here? How to Use Deli” podcast on your home feed. We provide detailed instructions on how to use it in that episode!
Q. What makes the podcasts on the official Deli channel different?
A. The episodes on the official Deli channel are podcasts created by us. Beyond Deli’s basic functions, you can switch languages based on the host. If an episode is too difficult, try listening in Korean/English! The Korean host will provide context, so you will be able to understand it much better.
Q. Can I find content I was listening to again?
A. Please go to the Library tab on the bottom bar. It contains your listening history, subscribed channels, and liked episodes.
Q. Can I see subtitles on the lock screen?
A. Deli provides a lock screen player! You can use subtitles and previous/next conversation buttons even on the lock screen. If you cannot see them, please check if the ‘Lock Screen Player’ item is turned on in Profile > Settings > Playback!
Q. I want to listen to a specific podcast. A. We are working 24/7 to add more diverse and entertaining podcasts to Deollideu. If there are any other podcasts you would like to listen to, please contact us via the ‘Contact Us’ link in our profile!
Q. Can I create a podcast?
A. Please expand the ‘Learning’ menu on the bottom bar and press ‘Create.’ This feature allows you to create the podcasts you want to listen to yourself! Whatever podcast you want to hear, become a creator and make one yourself!
