The "Species collector" application makes it possible to collect field data on the occurrence of plants (but can also be extended to other groups of organisms) in the form of individual species records or vegetation images. In the application it is possible to use your own code lists, document the mapping of photographs and especially export data in a uniform format. The application will ensure the same methodology when working in a larger team.
The application is based on the principle of collecting data from the so-called "walk" which can contain several "sites" and then in them are nested individual "records", which are occurrences of species or vegetation images.
Instructions for the application can be found at http://www.ibot.cas.cz/invasions/sc/.
Please send comments and suggestions for improving the application to sc@ibot.cas.cz.
The application was programmed by Jonáš Tichý (jon.tich@volny.cz).
The application is the result of the project Biotic endangerment of garden art monuments: algae, cyanobacteria and invasive plants (DG16P02M041) of the program of the Ministry of Culture NAKI II (researcher "Institute of Botany AS CR, v.v.i.").
