DroidCamX turns your Android device into a webcam.

Could not get the usb connection to find my phone, went through every option in the FAQ to set it up. I suspect it's a Windows 10 software problem because as soon as I click refresh to find phones, even without a phone connecting, the win10 app goes to (Not responding) mode and I have to close and restart. WiFi part works fine, but honestly was unimpressed with the quality, I have a cheap Amazon webcam c920 rip off and that looks much better. I wish I could get the usb part to work

Video output is okay but the audio compression quality and lack of audio control features lets it down. There's a mic boost option but what I need is *less* gain. Maybe this is more to do with the Windows 10 client & driver, but there's no way to control the mic level other than the boost setting. My audio output suffers from clipping & artefacts, especially at higher frequencies.

1. The app doesn't support vertical mode 2. To switch between back and front camera you have to stop the video first. 3. There is half a minute delay. 4. Having to restart the computer after changing the video quality doesn't make sense. 5. The app showed me a pop-up asking to give it a rank on play store although I already had and that popup prevented the client from connecting to the app.
